Ford OBS 2008+ Rear Leaf Spring Hanger Kit with Shackles

The BDD Ford OBS 2008+ Rear Leaf Spring Hanger Kit with Shackles allows 1992-1997 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks to run the longer 2008+ Super Duty rear leaf springs. This bolt-on conversion provides OBS Ford owners with a way to upgrade to newer Super Duty leaf springs for improved ride quality and suspension travel while maintaining proper axle positioning and suspension geometry.

Designed specifically around the OBS Ford frame, the BDD rear leaf spring hangers utilize existing factory frame holes wherever possible to simplify installation and reduce unnecessary drilling.

The front hangers are designed to position the rear axle in the factory OBS wheel-well location while also providing two additional axle-position options. These additional mounting locations allow the axle to be moved forward or rearward when needed, particularly when using aftermarket leaf springs that may not position the axle correctly in the wheel opening.

The rear hanger has been designed to improve shackle geometry while maintaining the proper rear axle pinion angle. Paired with the included BDD long-travel shackles, the system allows the leaf springs to move more freely through their range of travel for improved ride quality and increased suspension travel off-road.

All brackets are constructed from pickled and oiled (P&O) steel, CNC cut, precision bent, and fully MIG welded. The long-travel shackles utilize 2" DOM tubing with a 1/4" wall thickness and include grease fittings and polyurethane bushings for serviceability and durability.

• 2008-2016 Super Duty leaf springs use a smaller front hanger bolt than 2017-current leaf springs
