This is our ZF5 Crossmember, it is designed to fit inside of the frame rails to allow for the 05+ radius arm brackets to bolt up to the frame when swapping to 05+ axles. It bolts in place using existing holes, while providing extra clearance for your drive shaft and added strength from its boxed design.

As of summer '23, there are 4 companies that offer ZF-5 speed crossmembers. I'm probably the only one who has owned all 4. (I own 11 OBS Ford trucks) The competition requires you to modify other parts of your truck, in one way or another just to fit their stuff. It takes patience, skill, and attention to detail to design a crossmember that works on all applications (Gas/Diesel, Big Block, Small Block etc.) They boys at BDD hit a home run with this crossmember!
Absolutely does not fit my 1990 F250 with the ZF5 and 4x4. I’d recommend you either fab your own or BDD, please do some better R&D

Customer service unsurpassable, crossmember arrived with all proper hardware sooner than expected, fits perfectly in between frame rails and transmission mount bolted right in
