Ford OBS 05+ Long Arm 4-Link Kit

The BDD Ford OBS 05+ Long Arm 4-Link Kit is designed for Ford OBS trucks running a 2005+ Super Duty front axle swap and looking to upgrade from a traditional radius arm suspension to a long arm 4-link configuration. Designed around our BDD 05+ axle swap system, this kit provides a heavy-duty suspension solution for trucks running higher lift heights without sacrificing driving control and stability.

Compared to a traditional radius arm setup, the BDD long arm 4-link design minimizes caster change throughout suspension travel. This helps provide steadier steering, improved handling, and more consistent suspension geometry both on and off-road.

The system features 1-1/4" Johnny Joints for precise axle positioning and caster adjustment. The 4-link arms are constructed from 2" DOM tubing with a 1/4" wall thickness for maximum strength, while the mounts are built from 1/4" pickled and oiled (P&O) steel, CNC cut, precision bent, and fully MIG welded.

Because of the frame width differences between the OBS Ford chassis and the newer Super Duty axle, the 4-link mounts are offset to properly position the suspension components for the conversion. Multiple design options are available to complement your build.

Recommended for trucks with 4" or more of lift, this system is best paired with the BDD drop track bar bracket or BDD fabricated track bar kit to maintain proper track bar and steering geometry.
