Ford OBS 05+ Axle Swap Long Arm 4-Link Kit

The BDD Ford OBS 05+ Axle Swap Long Arm 4-Link Kit combines the components needed for a 2005+ Super Duty front axle swap with BDD's long arm 4-link suspension system. Designed for Ford OBS trucks with 6" or more of lift, this kit provides a complete front suspension solution for builders who want to convert to a newer Super Duty front axle while running a heavy-duty 4-link configuration.

Compared to a traditional radius arm setup, the BDD long arm 4-link design minimizes caster change throughout suspension travel. This helps provide steadier steering, improved handling, and more consistent suspension geometry both on and off-road.

The system features 1-1/4" Johnny Joints for precise axle positioning and caster adjustment. The 4-link arms are constructed from 2" DOM tubing with a 1/4" wall thickness, while the mounts are built from 1/4" pickled and oiled (P&O) steel, CNC cut, precision bent, and fully MIG welded for strength and durability.

Because of the frame width differences between the OBS Ford chassis and the newer Super Duty axle, the link mounts are offset to properly position the suspension components for the conversion.

Unlike the standalone BDD Long Arm 4-Link Kit, this package also includes the coil spring buckets, axle truss, fabricated track bar and bracket, sway bar brackets, and crossmember needed to build the complete front suspension around the 2005+ Super Duty axle.
